Winchcombe

D A Cook Builders involvement in this project came at a very early stage by assisting the client with obtaining planning permission for the new house and garage in a perfect position in Winchcombe. Incorporated within the design of this beautiful home is a wine cellar, Orangery, handcrafted oak staircase and garage block with games room and potting shed. The natural stone used within the facade came from Cotswold hill and stone masonry limited, this includes all of the ashlar bay feature, with stone balustraded balcony above, plinth and string courses, window cills and surrounds, and ashlar chimney stacks. There is underfloor heating through the property and the fine detailed plaster cornicing and carved fireplaces were sourced locally.
